Google Finally updates the Playstore app

Google has been rolling out new updates to its Play Store app with a smooth white background. Previously, Android Messages, Google Photos, Google Calendar have all gotten a new design. After a long wait, Google play store app gets its new design update.

The new Google play store has all white background. As far as the functionality changes, it’s got only minimal changes. The updated Google play store offers new tabs at the bottom for Apps, Movies, Games, and Books. Unfortunately, there’s no music tab. In fact, Google play music is likely to be replaced by YouTube Music.

What’s the new design look like:

1. Google Play Store looks a little more friendly, Corners of the text box, buttons, and app icons are rounded off. We are expecting Google to smooth that and be little more consistent. App pages have also been slightly redesigned. Now the app pages are better with highlighting app rating and screenshots.

2. Progress bar, while downloading apps are replaced with a circle around the app icons.

3. Font of the Google Play Store is also been changed, it looks little more modern and clean.

4. The interface looks more modern, the previous Google Play Store is also equally good, and at the time it was launched, like shadows down the button. Now it is a little more out of date.

5. It is nice to see Google Play Store is brought up along with the other Google’s apps. Now the Android is more unified.

If you want new sets of update in your Google Play Store app, make sure you are on 15.1.24 Version or kindly wait for few more days. The new updates will be on your phone soon.
